Fisher's is thrilled to host our dear friend Chef Justin Devillier, owner of one of New Orlean's most celebrated restaurants, for the launch of his new cookbook The New Orleans Kitchen.

Please join us on Friday, December 13th at 6pm to celebrate Justin's craft and accomplishments. At this dinner, the Chef will be preparing items from his new cookbook and will be signing copies at the end of the evening. The dinner begins with passed appetizers and a special cocktail, followed by a coursed meal with special selections from the chef. We are excited to expand our Southern Grace series and hope you will join us. Tickets are $145.00 per person and includes a signed copy of Chef Justin's cookbook. The event is a wonderful way to start the holiday season as a personalized gift for that special someone or a special treat for yourself.

About Justin:

Chef Justin Devillier is the Chef/Owner at La Petite Grocery and Justine in New Orleans and the 2016 James Beard award winner for Best Chef: South. Growing up in Dana Point, California, Justin enjoyed fishing for yellowtail and albacore and diving for lobster. His love for fishing inspired his dream of becoming a chef. In 2003, Devillier moved to New Orleans and cooked in the kitchens of Bacco, Stella and Peristyle, learning French inspired cuisine under his mentor, Chef Anne Kearny-Sands. In 2004, he joined the team at La Petite Grocery, quickly moving from cook to sous chef and following Hurricane Katrina, to executive chef. In 2010, he and his wife Mia became the owners of La Petite where he serves his creative spin on New Orleans cuisine with dishes like Turtle Bolognese, Paneed Rabbit and Blue Crab Beignets. In 2014, Justin was awarded "Chef of the Year" by New Orleans Magazine.

In early 2019, the Devilliers opened Justine in the New French Quarter. The bustling, food-hall style gathering place is the realization of Devillier's long-time dream to open a restaurant in the South's most lively district. Balancing sophistication and exuberance, his menu features the classic, craveable dishes found in the brasseries lining the streets of Paris with bold presentation.

In his free time, Devillier is an avid fisherman and hunter, and loves spending time at the beach with his wife and three young daughters. Please join us in celebrating the artistry of this talented Chef.
